Radiator Pressure Tester
For Pressure Leakage Test

Select a suitable adapter to replace the radiator opening cap and tighten it, connect the pressure tester to the selected adapter.

Press the manual pump to pressurize the inside of the radiator till the readout up to 10-15 psi. Don’t over 35 psi.

Wait for a while to see if the gauge pointer moves. Reading drops means there is a leak. Release the residue pressure and disconnect the adapter.

Tools You May Need for Coolant Change:
Vacuum coolant refill tool, radiator adapters, aluminum cap adapters, 60-inch coolant delivery hose & 24-inch bleed hose, European air plug and adapter assembly tool, air compressor(not included)

Testing Process:

Drain out waste coolant. Hang the vacuum coolant tool on the hood. Close all the valves and install 2 coolant hoses (Note: The suction inlet of delivery hose must be fully immersed in the new coolant to keep air out).

Replace the radiator opening cap with a suitable adapter, connect the refill tool to the selected adapter and air compressor.

Only turn on the air switch valve and air control valve, open the air compressor to pull a vacuum. Then turn off the valves and air compressor when the pressure value drops to between -60~-50 cmHg (-25~-20 inHg).

Coolant replacement. Only turn on the coolant control valve to start coolant change job. The pointer will return to zero after vacuum filling finished. You can repeat the above steps or not according to actual conditions.
