The latest iteration of SG micro-inverter comes equipped with a mobile phone communication function, providing you with the ability to monitor your inverter's performance from anywhere, at any time. This intelligent On Grid system enhances safety, optimizes solar energy generation, enhances system reliability, and streamlines solar system design, installation, maintenance, and management.
The SG(x)MD Series comprises four models of grid-tied solar inverters that are specifically designed for residential and small-scale commercial solar power systems. The available models are SG600MD, SG700MD, SG800MD, and SG1000MD.
The inverters' input data comprises of two sets of MC4 connectors for DC input, with an MPPT voltage range of 28V-55V and an operation voltage range of 20V-60V. They can handle a maximum input voltage of 60V and start up at 20V. Additionally, the solar panel input power is limited to 2 pieces of either ≤300W (SG-600W) or ≤350W (SG-700W).
The SG(x)MD Series also has good efficiency, with peak efficiency of 95%, CEC weighted efficiency of 92.5% or 93.5%, and nominal MPPT efficiency of 99.90%. The night power consumption is less than 700mW.
Regarding the heating problem of the inverter:
Inverter heating is a common occurrence as all electronic devices generate heat during operation. Our inverter uses aluminum alloy material, which effectively conducts heat. Moreover, the over-temperature protection feature automatically reduces the working output efficiency or stops working if the temperature exceeds the recommended limit. After cooling down, the inverter will restart. We advise installing the inverter in a well-ventilated, dry, and cool location to ensure optimal performance.
Micro-inverter repair:

For the SG300-700W version of the inverter, we offer AC cord accessories which can be purchased separately. It is recommended to follow the instructions for proper installation of the AC connection method. As the power output is high, a circuit breaker is required for safety purposes.

1. The proper installing position
To ensure long-term stability and operation of the Solar Micro-Inverter, it is important to follow proper installation guidelines. Here are some key tips to keep in mind:

Avoid direct sunlight: Excessive temperatures can be caused by direct sunlight, so it's important to install the inverter in a shaded area.

Avoid exposure to rain or other liquids: In order to prevent damage from moisture, the inverter should be installed in a dry location.

Ensure proper ventilation: Proper ventilation is important to allow for heat dissipation, so it's important to install the inverter in a well-ventilated location.
A great installation option is to directly install the Micro-Inverter on the support beam of the PV module racking. This way, the PV modules can act as a cover to avoid direct sunlight and rain, and there will be sufficient space for heat radiation. It's important to avoid installing the inverter in a location where water leakage may occur between the PV modules. Alternatively, users can install the Micro-Inverter in a position that meets standard guidelines.
Please note that damage to the Inverter caused by improper installation will not be covered under warranty
Setting up WIFI communication:
To get started with your micro inverter, follow these steps:

Install the micro inverter correctly to generate power.

Use your smartphone or tablet to scan the QR code and download the “Smart Life” App from the Android or Apple App Store.

Turn on Bluetooth on your smart device.

Make sure your wireless network device, such as a router, is working and connected to the Internet.

Connect your smart device to the wireless network device where the micro inverter is installed to test if you can access the Internet normally. If you can, go to the next page for configuration and use steps.

7. Click the newly added item of list, you can enter the device information details page (Figure 5), On this page, you can view the detailed status data of the device.

1. Click the device to be shared in the device list on the home page to enter the device information details page (Figure 5).
2. Click the button in the upper right to enter the device setting page (Figure 6).
3. click the “Share Device” item to enter the device sharing page (Figure 10), click Add Sharing button to enter “Add Sharing” page (Figure 11), and select best sharing way that you think it is most convenient to share the link of micro inverter.
