The Down Pipe has an enlarged pipe diameter at 3″ in order to allow gasses leaving the turbo to flow at a more rapid rate than the restrictive OEM down pipe. This improved exhaust flow will result in more horsepower and torque by allowing the turbo to spool quicker and stronger. This also allows the turbo to work more efficiently with full boost being achieved lower in the RPM curve than before.
Made from high quality stainless steel to resist corrosion and mandrel bent to ensure a smooth flowing surface, the Down Pipe will bolt directly to the OEM turbo using existing hardware for a factory-like fit. Integrated flex section ensures that under normal engine movement the down pipe will remain flexible to withstand such changes. The down pipe incorporates bungs for existing OEM sensors to retain proper engine management.
