1. What is the limit of temperature measurement?
It depends on both the measuring range of the sensor and the display range of the thermometer. Consider the smaller value to be the limit before your measurement.
For example, the display range of the thermometer is -199.9°C to 405.0°C. If the measuring range of your sensor is -50°C to 250°C. The limit of the temperature measurement should be consistent with the sensor, which is -50°C to 250°C.
2. Does the thermometer also work with 2-wire or 3-wire Pt100 RTD?
To achieve as precise measurement results as possible, you are highly recommended to use 4-wire Pt100 sensor for this thermometer. For long-distance measurement, to guarantee the accuracy and stability of the measurment, please do adopt 4-core shielded cable as extension cable if your sensor is 2-wire or 3-wire Pt100 RTD. The closer the connection point is to the chip of Pt100, the smaller the deviation caused by the cables is.
