Operating Instructions
Installig the battery:
Open the back cover and insert three AAA batteres (not included) fllowing the polarity diagram.
Replace the back cover.
Operation:
Hang the unit over the door knob.
Move the button to “Chime” or “Alarm” position. A red light will blink 30 seconds. Once the blinking stops the unit is ready to work.
When the door is vibrated or opened, the unit will sound two times chime ifit is at“Chime” position, while the light will flash. The unit will sound alarm for 60 seconds if it is at“Alarm” position, while the light will flash.
Once the Chime stops, the light will blink for 30 seconds. Then the unit will reset itself to resume protection.
And at Aarm position, this reactivation time is only 5 seconds.
To turm off the unit, just move the button to“Of position,
Using on metal door knob:
The unit has an aditional static touch sensor. Hang the unit onto any metal door knob, and switch it to “Chime* or“Alarm posilion.
The unit will be activated in 30 seconds.
Whoever touches the door knob, the unit will sound Chime or AJam immediately and the light will flash.
Please note: This static sensor will not for use with plastic and wooden door handles, as well as metal doors.
Adjust sensitivity:
The unit has three sensitivity settings, 0, L and H which are located at the back of the unit.
If using static touch sensor, you can experiment between L (Low) and H (High) sensitivity to determine which one is the best fit for your application.
If using this unit on metal doors, please adjust the sensivily to be 0 (only vibration sensor).
Low battery warning:
The three AAA batteries can last approximately 1 500 hours in standby mode.
If the batteries are running low, a waming bep.bep..eep will sound to indicate it is time to change the batteries,
