A1: No. It uses transistor output and requires a controller or relay to switch power.

A2:NPN Normally Closed (NB): Outputs low level (0V) when beam is uninterrupted.
NPN Normally Open (NK): No output when beam is uninterrupted.
PNP Normally Closed (PB): Outputs high level (24V) when beam is uninterrupted.
PNP Normally Open (PK): No output when beam is uninterrupted.
