The MQ131 ozone gas sensor module is a compact board based on the MQ-131 sensor. It is equipped with a very wide range of ozone sensitivity, capable of detecting ozone concentrations up to (10-1000ppb) in ambient air. Tin dioxide (SnO2) is the sensor's sensitive material, has low conductivity (high resistance) in clean air environments, and responds very well in the presence of ozone. As a result, the sensor is very sensitive in the presence of ozone. The higher the ozone concentration, the better the conductivity. The board has a trimmer to set thresholds, status LEDs for analog and digital outputs (TTL), power and output signals. The digital outputs can be connected directly to a microcontroller. The voltage provided by the analog output (0-5 VDC) increases as the ozone concentration in the air increases.
