When we need U508 Universal TPMS Sensor Reset Tool?
● New TPMS sensors installed, letting air out or adding air in to the tire couldn’t make the system recognize new sensors.

Tips for using “U508 Universal TPMS Sensor Reset Tool
1. 9V battery shold be in good condition: New & fully charged.
2. Make sure antenna fits in CORRECT position.
3. Do tire reset outside instead of in the garage.
4. Position of tires are also important, front tires have to be straight.
5. Sensors should be original / OEM sensors which are already well programmed.
6. Keep pressing the power button to send signal until it succeeded.
7. Be sure all other sensors are out of range of vehicle antenna (10 ft range min).
8. Disable all other WIFI/Bluetooth and electronic accessory devices.

【TPMS RESET TOOL】 U508 is a essential tool with a 315MHz or 433 MHz tire pressure monitoring system, of replacement tire pressure sensor, tire pressure alarm remove or exchange tires.
Function:

Steps to set car in TPMS Re-Learn mode:
For GM series vehicles:
1. Set the parking brake, turn the ignition switch to ON/RUN with the engine off.
2. Type A – Choose TPMS relearn mode in the dashboard setting, hold pressing thekey for 5 seconds.
Type B – Choose TPMS relearn mode in the dashboard setting, press and hold SET/RESET button until a double horn chirp sounds.
Type C – Press the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter's LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
3. Horn will sound twice and TPMS indicator flashes, then learning mode has been entered successfully. Start from the driver side front tire (LF).
For Ford series vehicles:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Ensure ignition switch to OFF, press and release the brake pedal for 1 time.
3. Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position.
4. Press and release brake pedal.
5. Turn ignition OFF position.
6. Cycle ignition from OFF to RUN position 3 times, ending in RUN position.
7. Horn will sound once and TPMS telltale will blink once train mode is initiated. If equipped with message center, it will display TRAIN LF TIRE. Start from driver side front tire (LF) .

EL50448 TPMS Sensor Relearn
The tire pressure sensor on models in & after 2012 can be read, only with some specified diagnostic tools.
Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor; and use the following methods to read the tire pressure sensor after replacing a tire or wheel speed sensor.
EL50448 instructions:
EL50448 works on most General Motors (for Buick, for Cadillac, for Chevrolet, for GMC) products manufactured for the North American market. It won't work if you've purchased aftermarket sensors that are the wrong frequency. EL50448 fit for G.M most kind of vehicles,equipped with a 315 or 433 MHz Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special device EL-50448.
How to use EL 50448 TPMS tire pressure monitoring system relearn
Step 1 – Enter leaning mode
Set the gearshift lever to “P”
Put the ignition switch to ldquoONrdquo
Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DIC
DIC shows “Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn”
Press ldquoSet / Ctrlrdquo
The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode
Step 2 – Read tire pressure sensor information
Start from the front-left wheel,
Make the J-46079 or Diagnostic device EL-50448 antenna up against the valve core position & close to the rim of the tire sidewall

Successful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn bleeps once
Step 3 – Same method to read other tire pressure information
Follow the instuction above to read tire pussure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels.
Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.
For certain vehicles equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system, a “Sensor Re-Learn Procedure” must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool 50448

2. Set the car in TPMS learning mode. (car horns twice)
3. Starting from the left front tire, the antenna of the dedicated device for tire pressure monitoring is facing upwards against the tire sidewall near the rim of the valve stem to start the antenna. Press and release the button and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. Once the speaker is chirping, the sensor information is read and the turn signal to be read at the next position will light.
4. Follow this order to rest TPMS one by one: Front left, front right, rear right, rear left.
5. After all sensors reseted, the car horns twice, the TPMS re-learn finished.
How to set my car in TPMS relearn mode?
For G.M series cars:
1. Make the gear in P position.

4. Depress and release the brake pedal
5. Ignition to OFF position
6. Ignition goes from the OFF position to the RUN position 3 times and ends at RUN position
7. Horn will ring once and the TPMS indicator flashes, then the learning mode has been successfully entered. If equipped, the message center will display the front left (LF) tire
