Installation of Disc Brake Backing Plate
Step 1. Clean the brake caliper mounting surface.
Step 2. Precisely align the dust cover holes with the threaded holes on the caliper.
Step 3. Manually press the brake dust shield into place.
Step 4. Using a wrench, tighten the mounting bolts.
Step 5. Check that the dust cover edges are fully seated against the caliper.
